The Payments and Securities Clearing and Settlement Systems in Curaçao and Sint Maarten 2020 report is one of the first public documents in the series of Yellow Books.The report outlines the main institutional aspects of the national financial market infrastructure, the main interbank clearing and settlement systems and the behavior of the main payment instruments used in Curaçao and Sint Maarten. It also provides a brief description of the securities exchange, trading, registry, clearing and settlement systems in the Monetary Union.

 

Conduct Supervision

Complaints and tips are important signals for CBCS's supervision department. A complaint shows where there may be problems in the financial markets or with supervised institutions. A complaint can trigger further examination by CBCS. Contributing your complaints or tips will help improve the financial markets and the integrity of the active parties in the financial sector.

Stakeholder Survey 2020

In the period of November-December 2020, an online stakeholder survey was conducted among a broad spectrum of stakeholders of the CBCS. The aim was to gain more insight into the perceptions and experiences of various stakeholder groups of the CBCS.The survey focused on the experienced contact with the CBCS, the image of the CBCS, the perceived performance of the CBCS, the evaluation of the core tasks of the CBCS and the stakeholder’s suggestions for focus and improvements. In total, 243 respondents participated in the survey.
